Kee Yen Architect + KY Architects Sdn. Bhd. A Malaysian architecture practice that committed to creative-thinking and thorough design solutions. Kee Yen Architect (KYA) was established by Ar. Lim Kee Yen.

It is a young Malaysian architectural practice, experienced in multi-disciplinary projects, such as residential, commercial, mixed-used developments and master planning. His works has been selected by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia |PAM| (Malaysian Institute of Architects) to be published under the book"30 Under 40" which featured 30 emerging Malaysian architects below 40 years of age.

Revisiting The , three years after its completion, feels a little like meeting an old friend again.

Walking through the spaces today, I am reminded that architecture is not truly completed when construction ends. It continues to evolve through occupation, memories, and the passing of time. The grown plants, the concrete has weathered gently, and the building has settled into its surroundings in ways that could never have been fully drawn on paper.

Riang House - a house that embraces the poetry between roughness and refinement.Riang House was imagined as a home that finds the finest detail hidden within rawness itself.

At the heart of the home, an elevated pool floats above a garage that shelters the owner’s collection of beloved cars - merging lifestyle, engineering, and architecture into a single spatial expression. Above and below, leisure and machinery coexist in quiet harmony.

Designed for owners who deeply love the outdoors, the boundaries between building and landscape are intentionally blurred. Terraces, decks, shaded transitional spaces, gardens, reflections, breeze, and filtered tropical sunlight become part of everyday living. The house does not sit against nature, it extends into it.

Conceived in 2018, this mixed-use development was our early meditation on what a Malaysian city could become—>less static, more lived, more ecological. We imagined density not as vertical stacking, but as something gentle and inhabitable: where retail dissolves into shaded ground, where landscape climbs slowly into architecture, and where buildings soften, rather than harden the city.
