Interventions are but temporary mercies that relieve a moment but cannot secure a life. But an encounter with God lays upon a man an eternal foundation, upon which alone he may be established in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As the man’s sight is aligned to Christ, so also is his speech. No heart that truly sees Him can afford careless words. For what we behold governs what we become, and what we become can be betrayed by what we say.
