This is to inform the general Public that Kaduna Polytechnic has with effect from 2018/2019 Academic
Session, Introduce Bachelor's Degree Programmes for some courses run in affiliaiton with Ahmadu Bello
University (ABU) Zaria.
In view of the foregoing, applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for the
following Directo Entry Programmes.
i. B.Sc Architecture
ii. B.sc Building
iii. B.Sc Urban * Regional Planning
iv. B.Eng Mechanical Engineering
v. B.Eng Chemical Engineering
vi. B.Eng Civil Engineering
vii. B. Eng Elect/Electronics Engineering
Admission Requirement:
Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by Direct
Entry:
i. A minimum of FIVE subjects passed at not more than two sitting with at least two at the principal or
advanced level of the SSCE/GCE, O/L;
ii. Merit Passes in two relevant major subject in the NCE with SSCE/GCE, O/L Credit or equivalent in three
other subjects(mainly for education courses). Education may be accepted as a third A/L equivalent for
those taking course in Eduction;
iii. Two Passes at the IJMB Examination or Cambridge moderated Schools or Basic Studeis terminal
examination or International Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with Senior School Certificate
credits in three other Subject(Subject to University requirements)
iv. National Diploma in relevant discipline at a minimum of credit level.
Method of Application
Interested candidates who applied Direct Entry in the 2017/2018 session to other Institutions can change
through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System(CAPS) at any of the JAMB Accredited CBT
Centre and also fill the Kaduna Polytechnic on line Post UTME verification Form by payment of N2,000
through REMITA to Polytechnic TSA Account.
Application should be made not Later Than 27th November 2018 when the portal for admission shall be
closed.
