WEIRD FOOD COMBINATIONS NIGERIANS EAT – WHO INVENTED THIS??
If there’s one thing about Nigerians, we will mix anything together and call it food! Sometimes, it’s a delicious discovery, other times… it’s a CRIME against the stomach!Let’s talk about some of the weirdest food combinations we Nigerians proudly eat—tell me if you’ve tried any of these!
1. Garri and Groundnut with Coke or FantaGarri and groundnut? Classic. But the moment you add Coke or Fanta? Ah! Some people say it “sweetens the soul,” while others believe it’s a one-way ticket to the hospital! Are you in or out?😂
2. Bread and Indomie😏What exactly are we looking for here? Double carbs? Extra starch? Some say it slaps, others say it’s a choking hazard. I personally think… okay, let me not judge before I taste. Have you tried this?
3. Rice and Okra Soup this one always causes war. Some people swear it’s the best thing after Jollof, while others say it’s just disrespectful to rice. Who do we believe?
4. Beans and Garri some will say why eat just beans when you can sprinkle garri on top? Like why 😭Some say it’s a texture problem, others say it’s the ultimate “soaking” meal. Either way, if you’ve eaten this, just know you’re a real OG.
5. Yam and Red Oil I’m a victim here 😂say it’s poverty food, others say it’s “ancestral cuisine.” But let’s be honest, when hunger is holding you, this thing can actually make sense!6. Ice Cream and Bread aaahh! This one still shocks me. Nigerians will buy Agege bread, put Fan Ice inside, and call it a snack. Is this sweet or struggle food?
Let me know! Which of these have you eaten before, and which one do you think should be banned immediately? Drop your comments, let’s argue small! For me beans and yam should be banned I struggling while eating abeg😩
