You must not live everywhere you bought land.
That you live in Lagos and has no intention of moving doesn't mean you can't buy land in Abuja, Kogi or Ekiti. Etc
That you live abroad doesn't mean you can't buy a property in Abuja, Enugu, Port-Harcourt or Lagos because you are not coming to live in Nigeria.
Smart real estate investment choices are made strictly based on:
β Purpose
β Profit
β Authenticity of the property
Nothing more, nothing less.
If you pay me to live in some of the cities I bought land in, I wonβt accept it, yet I still went ahead to buy land there.
Do you know, why?
I donβt approach real estate investing with emotions. My goal is to build my investment portfolio and I think you should copy this style too.
Emotion-driven purchase will make you buy land that will never appreciate in value and also very hard to sell off.
Stop limiting yourself by putting your money in a location where it wonβt appreciate fast. Of course, your first real estate investment should be closer but after that first investment, spread your wings and fly.
Get some in Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo, Abuja, lokoja, Ibadan, Port-Harcourt, Enugu, Awka, Owerri, Abakaliki, etc. Just spread your wings.
5 years from now, you will thank me for this piece of advice Iβm giving you for free if you go the extra mile to take action today.
