Have you ever been embarrassed on a job because your materials ran short?
Let me share this for free today 👇🏽
When taking a quotation or giving an estimate, please give it the attention it deserves—even if it takes you 1–3 days to calculate properly. A standard and accurate estimate will save you from unnecessary stress and embarrassment on site.
Here’s the truth:
Clients are usually willing to buy extra materials if it means getting a better job. But when workmanship is questioned—complaints will definitely come, and we all know how common that is.
Most avoidable issues with clients don’t come from the work itself, but from poor estimation. When materials fall short, confidence drops, trust is shaken, and small problems turn into big conversations.
All I’m saying is this:
👉🏽 Take your time. Measure well. Estimate properly.
It protects your professionalism, your reputation, and your peace of mind.
If you’ve ever experienced material shortages on a client’s job, you’ll understand this message better.
Learn from it. Do better next time.
Your craft deserves that respect.
