elliecashmandesign.com Here, I have been deeply influenced by the still life painters of the Dutch Golden Age. My range launched in 2013 when my original Dark Floral wallpaper went viral on Pinterest. Since then, I have adde

d cushion covers, fabric and scarves to my product line. Tying it all together is my personal take on the floral print. To create my large-scale floral prints, I alternate between traditional and digital art media. I start with a rough pencil sketch on paper, which I photograph and import into Photoshop. Using customized brushes and a Wacom tablet and pen, I continue to develop the design in Photoshop, on a series of painted layers. From start to finish, this process usually takes me about 6 months to a year.

The peacock feathers in ‘Becoming Wild’ are perfect for your powder room. In this small space, you’ll be surrounded - at the center of the spectacle - where transformation takes place and beauty unfolds.

‘Becoming Wild’ is a pattern of cascading peacock feathers, suggesting weightlessness and surrender - like movement without effort, beauty without noise. In this cozy restaurant setting, you’re invited to linger, to soften your edges, to settle into the moment and be fully present to what is.

For me, the peacock feather has always symbolized renewal: shedding the excess, returning to our core truth. It feels especially at home here, in the bathroom—a space of quiet ritual, reflection, and care.

These are the moments we pause to consider who we are, and who we are becoming. Let this be more than wallpaper. Let it be a reminder—of beauty, of intention, of your own unfolding.

Ever notice how the right paint colors can completely transform a wallpaper?

This warm green is a custom Sherwin Williams mixed to match the vanity. It’s such a beautiful choice with ‘Becoming Wild’ in Light Glowing Gray.

Thoughtfully put together by Chris and Beth at — such a perfect example of how the right color makes all the difference.

Check THIS out: the new age of ‘A Golden Age!’

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: one of the most rewarding things about making art for interiors is when a brilliant designer comes along and sees possibilities for my work that I alone could never - ever - dream up!

Case in point: This custom carpet is the product of my collaboration with the visionary designer Sally McCoy of in London.

Sally’s and my paths first crossed when she sourced my Dark Floral wallpaper for the ladies bathroom at the luxury Italian restaurant , near Trafalgar Square.

Several years later, I visited Sally at Bardo, and since then, she has continued to be one of my very favorite people.

Last fall, she sent me a photo of the space you see here, with just its coral-colored, paneled walls and moody lighting, at that time. She had a vision for a custom carpet to complete the look: We could take my ‘A Golden Age’ design, she said, and blow it up to an immersive, room-defining scale.

And that is exactly what we did!

It was a few rounds of back and forth, adjusting color, contrast, scale and placement to get it all JUST RIGHT. Then a few weeks of waiting on the production/manufacture … and then: the installation!

As soon as it was in, Sally sent me this photo of the final ‘A Golden Age’ carpet in this London basement-level cinema/lounge!!

There are finishing touches still to come, but seeing the artwork live underfoot, transformed into something you can stand and walk on, truly takes my breath away! I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this collaboration turned out.

And yes—this is just the beginning! Now we know that this kind of custom carpet can be produced for any and every project. If you’re dreaming about something bold, immersive, and completely one-of-a-kind, DM me and let’s talk.
