Michiel de Vos has gained over 10 years of experience in different sectors of the yachting industry. After finishing his degree in Naval Architecture he started working for Pieter Beeldsnijder Design. Ready for a new challenge, he sailed 2,5 years and thousands of miles on the J-Class "Shamrock V" as 2nd engineer. Back on shore he worked for the Hakvoort Shipyard in the engineering department and

for Holland Jachtbouw, where he was responsible for interior pre-fab and installation and was involved with rigging and deck layout aspects of new built sailing yachts. Riekus de Vries, after finishing his Naval Architecture degree, has worked for Pieter Beeldsnijder Design for over 10 years. He has a wide range of experience designing power- and sailing yachts up to 90 meters in length. His main duties involved taking care of the subsequent drawing work varying from profiles and general arrangements, to general construction and lines plan drawings. In the later stages of the projects he was responsible for several yard related design issues. Riekus also spent a lot of time working with PB Special Craft on the design, new built and refits of different yachts up to 12 metres in length. Together, Michiel and Riekus have a broad knowledge on both the Sail and Power side of the yachting industry.
