✨ As we make our final preparations for tomorrow’s exhibition launch, “Amu Fakhri Yangu-Kawanda la Ustawi,” we invite everyone in and around Lamu to join us at the Lamu Fort.

Come celebrate our collaborative efforts with National Museums of Kenya and LAHESCO as we showcase the riches of Lamu’s historic urban landscape through the lens of its key open space, Mkunguni Square! The event kicks off at 09.00 am EAT and will feature a walk-through of the exhibition, discussion of public spaces and performances.

Additionally, we will discuss some highlights of the upcoming Amu Fakhri Yangu - Manual for Activating Public Open Spaces in Heritage Settings. Stay tuned for more on this next week!

✨ P.S. This exhibition will be a permanent installation, so if you can’t make it tomorrow, we encourage you to visit at your convenience!

This event has been made possible with the kind support of Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie

We look forward to seeing you there!
