Woningbouw in herstructureringsgebieden, woonzorgcomplexen en haalbaarheidsstudies vormen een belangrijk onderdeel van ons werk. Omdat wij op verschillende schaalniveaus tegelijk kunnen werken, worden wij vaak gevraagd om in een project niet alleen als architect, maar ook als stedenbouwkundige te fungeren. Een goede samenwerking met de opdrachtgever staat bij ons altijd voorop. Graag betrekken wij

in een vroeg stadium alle partijen bij het ontwerpproces. We zijn er van overtuigd dat het communiceren met alle betrokkenen essentieel is om tot een goed resultaat te komen. In dit proces spelen wij als architect graag een actieve en inspirerende rol.

We are currently working on 3 apartment blocks in Schiebroek-Zuid, Rotterdam. The buildings will replace outdated single-family and duplex homes and contain 132 (social) rental apartments, which significantly increases the density of the neighbourhood.

A 12-storey tower block, with a community centre at ground level, will give Wilgenplaslaan greater significance as an urban street.

Together with our renovation project of 294 dwellings, the project is the final phase of the first quarter of postwar Schiebroek reconstruction.

Our historic city centre project in Maassluis, along the medieval Zuidvliet canal, is under construction. Client

The project consists of 2 blocks of 34 apartments, 24 of which are social housing units (Maasdelta Groep), 27 single-family homes, retail and a Jumbo supermarket.

Scale model of our design for sheltered housing, part of the ‘Woningen Vinden’ exhibition.

The design is made for the and is intended as the start of a future development in their courtyard.

The beautiful exhibition is made by and is currently located in the Wijkpaleis building itself. Of course, permission was given to change the original model.

Part of the renovation of the 300 flats in Schiebroek-Zuid Rotterdam (Vak 1) involves transforming former garage boxes in the plinth of the existing blocks into compact single-person studios.

The blue garage doors in the photo will be replaced by lots of glass, facade gardens and front doors.

If this pilot project is successful, it could be rolled out on a larger scale in the surrounding area and, in fact, throughout the Netherlands.

In Spijkenisse, we are working on Stella Nova, a large-scale expansion of the Sterrenkwartier neighbourhood, with approximately 500 homes, most of which is social housing. Client

Stella Nova consists of four phases, three of which have now been completed. The architecture refers to the original 1960s post-war building blocks in the surroundings.
