ISOCARP 2015 Eindhoven_Society 2.0 Planners and Architects can make contribution for developing the theme of the ISOCARP 2015 Eindhoven "How to react when industry moves away_Society 2.0"

Our Eindhoven workshop with the theme "How to react when traditional industries move away_Society 2.0" would like to get closer insight into the most recent issues and trends in Urban planning directly connected to our transitioning society and re-examine the role of the urban planner and architect in the future society. We can sense a transition of his role from blue print creator into community

sensor. This means that the drivers for future urban planning and strategy development need to emerge from a bottom-up approach. We want to have closer insight and work with a new philosophy where urban planners and architects should be mediators of this “bottom-up” initiative and therefore we invite all practitioners from this area to join us and help build solid workshop case studies!
