Sometimes less really is more 🔊
Not every great speaker needs a large cabinet or a complex multi-way design. This bookshelf build focuses on getting the fundamentals right: quality components, thoughtful material choices, and a design that makes the most of the available space.
With an MDF core, oak front and rear baffles, and felt-wrapped sides, it has a clean, understated look that matches its listening experience. Compact on the outside, but designed to deliver clear, detailed sound with impressive imaging.
Components used in this build:
Markaudio CHN-50 Full-Range Driver
Dayton Audio ND105-PR Passive Radiator
Together, these components create a compact system with detailed mids, precise imaging, and a surprisingly extended low end thanks to the passive radiator.
Great to see our components used in projects like this. Thanks for sharing, Dennis Eriksson ! 🙌
Would you choose a full-range speaker like this, or do you prefer a traditional two-way design? 👀👇
