"Alongside our design process, we also create handmade scale models for our clients. A model like this helps you really see and experience the design. Proportions and spatial relationships become much clearer right away. It also works well for us in the process: working with a physical model often sparks new ideas or reveals where things can be improved. We make them ourselves, with a lot of attention, so they clearly reflect what the design is all about.”

• Modern forest villa

"Despite its traditional pitched roof, this house has a modern appearance due to the use of elongated smoked brickwork. The slender black steel window frames enhance this modern character. The applied oak, used among others on the ceilings of the overhangs, contrasts beautifully with the grey-toned masonry and gives the house it’s a warm appearance."
