Syringa meyeri ‘Josée’ with Miscanthus topping material. 🌱

At Bloemen Young Plants, we’ve been at the forefront of testing this (new) material as a sustainable ground cover. Using topping material helps regulate moisture, suppress weeds, and control soil temperature.

The Syringa meyeri ‘Josée’ is a compact, fragrant shrub that’s perfect for smaller gardens or as a hedge. This variety produces beautiful lavender-coloured blooms in summer, releasing a delightful scent. Predatory mites: a healthy and green approach!

During the growing season (April – September), we release predatory mites every two weeks. This has drastically reduced our use of chemicals. Predatory mites help us combat harmful insects in an eco-friendly way. Great for your plants and the ecosystem!
