Ornamental gymnastics//
The semi-detached house from 1911 converted into a single-familie home. Interventions in facades and interiors have over time destroyed the aesthetic qualities of the house. A completely new floor plan and use of today’s materials in conjunction with the old timber walls define the interior of the house.

The house has been given a totally new color scheme. The colors were chosen based on the style period when the house was built and the surrounding houses.

Rural Life//
An old farmhouse with it’s annex has got a new guest wing with all amenities.
The guesthouse has been designed to evoke associations with old stables and barns.

The old farmhouse has undergone a renovation where openings have been made in the joists between main floor and attic to provide more space and air to the interiors.

The old interior had a lush color scheme that has been continued during the renovation.

En stemme til partiet?

Hvordan kan ny arkitektur ha et godt samspill med omgivelsene? Dét er temaet for årets byggeskikkpris, og nå har juryen plukket ut tre nominerte:

1 – Et arkitektstudio i en hage i Godalen
2 – Nybygget i Borgenkvartalet i Ryfylkegata
3 – Lervigkvartalet i østre bydel
