A brighter building starts with the right roofing solutions.☀️

This project involved replacing four aged and weathered clear light sheets that had become discoloured after years of exposure to the elements. The existing sheets were restricting natural light and had reached the point where replacement was the best long-term solution.

Each old clear light was carefully removed before installing a protective clear light film beneath the new sheets. The new clear lights have transformed the amount of daylight entering the building while providing a clean, professional finish that complements the existing roof.

It’s upgrades like these that not only improve the appearance of a roof but also increase functionality and help protect the building for years to come.👌

📸 Photos 1,2 & 3. The roof before work commenced. These images highlight several areas requiring attention, including previous non-compliant workmanship, inadequate weatherproofing, and roofing details that no longer met current standards.

📸 Remaining photos: The completed result after carrying out the necessary remedial work to restore the roof to a high standard using proven installation methods and quality materials.

Another roof successfully brought back up to standard with a strong focus on quality workmanship, compliance, and long-term performance.

Scope of works completed:
✔ Extended the chimney flue to the correct height.
✔ Replaced a faulty deck-tight installation caused by previous workmanship. The original pe*******on had not been correctly undersealed, so it was removed and reinstalled using the correct underseal method. Flashing tape was also installed to provide an additional moisture barrier beneath the roofing iron and dry pan, with the dry pan oversealed for added long-term protection.
✔ Completed a full re-screw of the roof, removing the original roofing nails that had begun lifting over time. Lifted nails can create entry points for water, increasing the risk of leaks. Modern roofing screws provide a far more secure fixing, maintaining consistent pressure on the roofing iron while delivering improved weather resistance and long-term reliability.
✔ Installed brand new Colorsteel® Grey Friars ridging.
✔ Installed a compliant dry pan over a sealed-off barge where the original sheet length was insufficient, bringing the detail back up to standard while improving protection against water ingress.
✔ Installed two new barges to provide the correct coverage over the roofing iron, improving both the roof’s weatherproofing and its overall finish.

The difference is often in the details. Every component of a roof has a purpose, and taking the time to install each product correctly helps ensure the roof performs reliably for years to come.

This reroof involved removing the existing iron and replacing it with Colorsteel Corrugate® in FlaxPod, giving the home a fresh new look and long-term protection from the elements.

From the valley detailing and ridge junctions through to the sheet layout and finishing lines, every part of the roof was approached with precision to achieve a clean, consistent result.

This project showcases COLORSTEEL® Flaxpod in a 5 Rib profile, complemented by precision notched ridging and carefully detailed hip and ridge junctions.

The clean sheet alignment and sharp roof lines allow the profile to flow consistently across the roof, creating a tidy, well-finished appearance. Combined with the depth of the Flaxpod finish, the result is a roofing system that delivers both visual appeal and long-term performance.

Titania Head, entrance flashings installed on a sliding door. These flashings make the door watertight, while the extra detail gives the door a stylish look, as well as blending in with the existing contrast. 🔥
