Welcome to our slow auction. How does it work? All money (apart from postage) will go directly to the rescue you choose.

If you would like to bid, reply to the picture with the amount of money you choose.
Bids close on Saturday 5/10/22 at 5pm.

You can either pay postage (if applicable) and your donation amount to me, I will transfer the money to the rescue and send the receipt back to you.
You can also pay the rescue directly, sending my the money for any postage needed. You will just need to send me proof of donation by showing the receipt.

Please share widely with any NZ friends or family.
Lets save some lives.

We are well into spring and as well as plant growth this also means animal rescues are seeing a boom in baby animals turning up at their doors.

I would love to support three smaller rescues that are passionate about helping animals in need. These rescues have been chosen to increase their followers and visibility and hopefully raise some money for their cause.

Pet Whisperer Rescue Trust https://www.facebook.com/Petwhispererrescue is run by a small but passionate team of volunteers who work to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats and bunnies as well as trapping and desexing abandoned animals to prevent more suffering in the future.

Auckland Cavy Care https://www.facebook.com/CavyCareRescue rescue, rehabilitate and rehome guinea pigs as well as rabbits and chinchillas. They also advocate for quality of life through avoiding small cages for these animals who love to have space to move and play.

And for dogs we have KeySar Rescue. https://www.facebook.com/KEYSARESCUE/ working passionately to end cruelty to dogs, rescue and rehabilitate abandoned dogs and find them new, loving homes.

Keysar Rescue is a not-for-profit animal rescue organisation dedicated to providing a safe haven for homeless and rescued dogs and puppies until we can find them responsible, loving homes. We rely on donations, fundraisers and fosters to provide a safe home for all the dogs and puppies, and all the others soon to come.

We believe that all pets should be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness. We believe in showing compassion and working to rehabilitate abused and abandoned pets. At Keysar Rescue we educate people and our communities about the importance of these principals as well as the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce the number of abandoned pets.

We rely strenuously on donations & support from the Community so we can continue our work to keep on moving & saving the forgotten.

I've been quiet lately. This winter hit us hard. We've had hospital visits, ambulance call outs and other dramas with my kids, especially my toddler getting constantly sick throughout this winter.
But it's spring! New growth time. We survived winter and so did my plants.
I'm doing a trim and declutter of my lovely plants soon so if you're keen on some cuttings keep an eye out or flick me a message, I might be able to help your wishlist!

Hoya whoevenareyou showing off plump, healthy looking red leaves.
This is mysterious because normally red leaves are sunburn. Probably still the case here but strange as these leaves only get direct sun in the early morning and show no signs of damage.
Looking forward to flowers so we can investigate this Hoya's true name with more clues.

I've been a little quiet lately,
I've been up to my eyeballs in relieving work with the whole spicy cough raging through Auckland over term 1.
I also have another work from home job that I've been doing at the same time.
I have kids and yeah, they keep you pretty busy!
Now it's the school holidays I have even less time but you never know, I may be able to squeeze some Foliage Federation time.
Plants are good for stress right?
