Throwback to 2021 β the start of this full restoration in Parnell.
What began as a w**d-infested, overgrown garden with failing retaining walls and no structure is now completely transformed. We cleared dense ivy and invasive vegetation, removed select exotic trees, and retained key native specimens to anchor the landscape.
From there, we rebuilt the space from the ground up β earthworks, new retaining walls and boulder edging, concrete pathways and steps finished with Waikato fleck stone, plus a new deck featuring a huge rustic outdoor fireplace.
Plant selection was crucial to achieving a lush, tropical feel while keeping maintenance practical. Layered groundcovers and structural planting now create a living green carpet that suppresses w**ds and softens the hardscape, with feature palms and tree ferns bringing height and presence.
The result is a space thatβs almost unrecognisable from where it started β and a great example of how we support projects from consent and design through to construction and ongoing maintenance.
The clients are stoked, and weβre proud to have brought this landscape back to life.
