Raising Monarch butterflies can be very time consuming and a lot of work. I've put together a kit which makes experiencing Monarch Magic so much easier!
Over the years I've experimented with different methods, and this is by far the simplest, and safest way to do it.
Your kit will come with Monarch eggs or baby caterpillars, and two healthy pesticide-free swan plants to see them through until metamorphosis. The removable base makes daily cleaning a breeze - just remove and wipe clean.
Watch the whole process from egg to butterfly while keeping the Monarch safe and healthy.
Your swan plants can then be planted in the garden for next season.
Monarch butterflies ARE NOT pets, and must be released after their wings have dried.

It's important to plant nectar-rich flowers in your garden to attract and feed the Monarch butterflies. Here are a few photos from my garden.
Monarchs are attracted to mass plantings of a single, bright colour, so try planting different colours in different areas.
The Monarchs can smell swan plants 1-2kms away, so when they come in to lay eggs they will appreciate the nectar from your flowers as well.
I currently only have Cosmos and Echinacea (purple coneflower) for sale for $2 each.
Remember once you have eggs on your swan plants you will need to cover the plant with some form of netting so the wasps don't kill the eggs and caterpillars.
