Spent today clearing out the store and bringing the space back to how it was.

I Got Planty was born during the lockdown days, when Mona’s salon had to close for a while. It was always meant to be temporary, but it grew into something much bigger and stayed far longer than we ever planned. Now it feels right to hand the ground floor back to the salon and close this retail chapter.

I’m proud of what we built and grateful for everyone who was part of it. The next chapter steps into the creative arc, with a focus on design and making meaningful work. I’m excited for what’s ahead and I’d love for you to come along. 🌿✨

Sculptural, calming, and quietly dramatic 🌿

The Ponga (Silver Fern) is more than just a native icon — it’s a stunning interior feature when paired with the right space.

It’s been nearly 3 weeks since we began growing one indoors, and it’s holding beautifully. The soft green fronds and silvery undersides create texture and light play, while the upright form adds vertical movement — perfect for shaded corners, tiled bathrooms, or modern entryways.

🌙 Afters at I Got Planty 🌿

From 8 September 2025, I Got Planty begins a new chapter — we call it Afters.

Until now, I Got Planty and Mona’s salon, Sonder, have shared the same roof — plants below, hair above. As Sonder grows with more stylists, it now needs extra space to keep delivering the service it’s known for.

And I Got Planty has grown too. Our focus is shifting toward plant styling, curated arrangements, handmade pieces, creative workshops, and community.

To make space for both visions, Sonder will expand downstairs. And when the salon closes, I Got Planty will awaken as Afters.

✨ Afters is our new rhythm:
After work
After dinner
After hours
Sunday mornings

💻 We’re still here, just in a new way. Our website is open 24/7 with delivery + in-store pickup, and all our products will be uploaded online.
