"We are extremely happy with the work completed by The Double Glazing Company Auckland. The team did an excellent job from start to finish, with the SuperTherm Select installed to a very high standard. A real highlight was the leadlight windows. The team incorporated our original leadlights into the double glazing beautifully, preserving the character of our home while massively improving its thermal performance. Since installation, we only need the heating on for about two hours in the evening, and the house stays warm until morning. Single glazing was the NZ standard until the mid-2000s.
If your home was built before then, every original window is almost certainly still single-glazed, and every winter it's working overtime to make your home harder to heat. Don't be fooled by that sunshine, it's still bloody chilly out there!
