I would like to recommend any stakeholders (landlords, homeowners, project managers, etc) and anyone who hires painters to make them paint a test door. It turns out that not every painter knows how to correctly chose the roller type for the windows and doors. And in the end, when you see such a terrible finish why do you accept this kind of crappy job? Don't pay for unprofessional services, hire Golden Brush!

In case you never thought of it, read this: the best dropsheet ever invented by a human is a good old thermal curtain. They come in decent sizes and never leak. Clients often want to get rid of old curtains when renovating so you can always grab a pair. We even know some painters that intentionally buy curtains from Salvation Army stores 🤟

In case you were wondering where Golden Brish has been for so long, relax. I’ve been here the whole time counting holes in these weatherboards. There were hundreds of them! Over 500 to be precise😲
Anyways, the winter season is almost there but the number of exterior projects is only increasing which means we will be teasing you with more picturese of satisfyingly smooth finishes.

In Golden Brush, we believe that a pet door was invented by a very annoyed cat owner 🥴 but we still stick to the idea that pets have a right to go out and then in and then out again as many times as they want to 👈👉👈👉So let’s keep their gate to the backyard in a good condition. Also, keep in mind that they may have their fury mates visiting them. Would you want to be judged by the neighbour’s Tiger for not maintaining the animal door in a decent condition?

It happens sometimes that a property needs to be sold ASAP. In that case, an unfair agency or a landlord hire a cheap painting force just to cover the previous poor painting. As a result, surfaces are not prepared properly and new refurbishment is not gonna last long.
Look at today’s door: old gloss was neither sanded nor primed and the topcoat simply didn’t stick to it. When we started to sand it, it just flaked off as if it was a snowfall season in Mt Ruapehu. With this door (actually, there were 10 of them + door frames🥴), we had to completely remove the topcoat and prepare the glossy surface from the scratch. Check it on the video.
