Grandma’s Garden

Others wait for Spring to repot succulents. I like to get them settled into their sleeping pots at the start of winter (for winter dormants) so they are ready to grow when Spring arrives.

I needed to freshen up some of Grandma’s Garden succulents while I am free. My mother (Grandma) has grown them for many years. She started with the few succulents I left with her morw than a decade ago. Her little collection grew more each year.

She has relagated the task of refreshing her succulent collection to me this year. With age, our backs can no longer last all day; I get that too now and then, so I stepped in to help her.

Here are just a few updated and refreshed succulents at Grandma’s Garden !

Hello everyone! Just a quick update from Grandma's garden!

Grandma spent 2 nights at the hospital last weekend after having injured her foot with an open secateur that lacerated the left medial plantar artery on top of her foot.

I made this for her last night after she's gone to bed; I thought I leave her something to smile about in the morning when she gets up!

Just letting those of you who loves succulents, we hope to start selling succulents again as the weather cools down!

Thank you for your patience and continued support. Grandma’s Garden and Intrepid Plant-mad (please check and Like/follow if you haven't yet) collaborated over putting together a number of wedding favours just recently.

We didn't know how many succulents we needed so we decided to wait until they are all done before we put together arrangements to sell. It is our first making these items which we are excited to share as soon as the special event is over. Watch this page!

The old chair is one my husband and I picked up one morning on our way back from one of our morning walks.

I created one in Queensland from an old wicker chair given to me so my husband understood straightaway when I saw this pld chair and picked it up before I could asked him to do so.

We are starting to get our acts together as we go through all those after winter things to do in the garden We will let you know once we have organized our succulents. The rainy days doesn't help but Life goesnon and Summer is not far.

These are Summer growers living together harmoniously in a big pot. Absolutely an eye candy but it is Not Gor sale.
