Well, here we are in 2026; Happy New year everyone:) May this year be as calm as this scene:) I snapped this on my way home from Whangarei. it's rare to get mist in the middle of summer. I know it's a simple composition, but I think it works.

My final day here was great! I kayaked a couple of klm to the Dunes. I saw something breaking the surface so I put my line out and hooked into a good Kawhai.
Then I beached the kayak and trekked to the big dune.
It was a cool place😁
