OMAHA CONCEPT

A site driven residential concept organised as separate volumes connected through landscape rather than internal corridors. Clear zoning controlled circulation and a low horizontal form responding to the Omaha context.

Copper Lake House

2010-2013

A residential project located at Copper Lake, St. Petersburg — developed through a close dialogue between client and architect.

The design references German Fachwerk architecture, where structure is not hidden but becomes part of the visual language. A steel frame, hollow brick walls, and soft-tile roofing form a clear, honest construction system that sits quietly within the lakeside landscape.

293 sqm of architecture shaped by collaboration, proportion, and material logic.

Sussex St Villa Renovation — Before & After

Breathing new life into an old villa.
2023-2025

This project came with an unusual challenge: two major public pipelines running beneath the house, including a 1200 mm stormwater main.
A hidden underground world that dictated every move — shaping the way spaces could grow and how structure could touch the ground.

Yet, within these constraints, the design evolved beautifully:
• An additional bedroom for a growing family
• A new ensuite tucked seamlessly into the layout
• A generous open-plan kitchen + living space
• High-stud ceilings bringing light, height and air
• A large deck extending the home into the landscape

A reminder that architecture is not just about what we see above ground, but also about responding to what lies beneath it — and transforming limitations into opportunity.

Ti Point Concept.
2024-2025…

Ti Point House is a high-end rural retreat, crafted as a quiet yet confident response to its remote coastal setting. Positioned within the raw landscape of Ti Point, the home is grounded in place—anchored by sculptural forms, natural materials, and a deep respect for the land.

The architecture embraces a low, linear composition that follows the contours of the site, opening itself to expansive views while offering protection from prevailing winds. The plan is carefully orchestrated: a central living pavilion links to private wings, creating a sense of layered privacy and framed exposure. Indoor and outdoor zones interlock seamlessly, encouraging a relaxed connection to the land.

Materiality plays a defining role. Cast concrete provides a sense of permanence and solidity, while aged copper detailing introduces a living patina that evolves with time. Full-height glass reveals the shifting character of light, weather, and landscape. Together, these elements create a rich, elemental palette—earthy, muted, and deeply attuned to the site.

Natural colours dominate both inside and out, allowing the house to sit softly within the environment. Interiors are restrained yet luxurious, with raw textures balanced by precision detailing. Every surface, junction, and proportion is considered to create an atmosphere of calm strength.

Rooted in passive design principles, Ti Point House is environmentally responsive without aesthetic compromise. Its structure is not imposed on the land but drawn from it—creating a timeless rural home that is both bold and humble, sculptural and grounded.
