In 2019, Concelo by Hideaway was awarded the prestigious international Red Dot design award in Essen, Germany for Concelo's design and innovation. It was one of more than 5,500 entries submitted from 55 countries for the highly regarded international design competition. Entries are judged by an international jury panel of 40 experts who only award the sought-after Red Dot seal of quality to products that feature an outstanding design.

In this stunning Orewa kitchen, designer Toni Roberts integrated our Concelo® 2 x 20L bin system discreetly beside the table-bar. It is a perfect example of how essential utilities can be resolved with the same level of care as architectural detailing, supporting daily rituals without interrupting the design.

There is still time for Australian kitchen designers to enter our draw for a trip to the 2026 ACFA & KBDi Conference. We want to reward the professionals who specify our products by giving you a chance to experience the industry’s biggest weekend on us.

How to Enter
Every new project you specify with any Hideaway Bin between 1 March and 30 June is another entry into the draw. The more you specify, the more chances you have to win.

The Prize Details
We’ve put together a complete conference package:
• Full Conference Access: Friday day sessions (4), the Trade Expo, and the Friday night Welcome Drinks.
• Saturday Highlights: Art Gallery of NSW exhibition tour, conference lunch, and the KBDi Awards Gala.
• Flights & Accommodation: Return flights within Australia and three nights at the Hyatt Regency Sydney in a King Bed Tower Room.

Key Competition Info
• Eligibility: Open to all designers (including trade-based businesses). You don't need to be a member of KBDi or ACFA to win.
• Conference value: Non-member price $1,164.00 p/p (Member price $859.00 p/p). Plus, accommodation and flights.

Connecting with the industry. 🤝

Our National Business Development Managers, Claire Fowler and Chris Bretherton, had a great time meeting everyone at the Kitchen Studio conference last week. It was a pleasure demonstrating how our Concelo®, Concelo entro and Hideaway Compact ranges.

We also showcased our brand new Concelo 13L bathroom vanity bin, there is nothing else like it in the market.

We’ve just wrapped up this beautiful new kitchen fit-out, and what a transformation it is – especially with a view like this, looking out over stunning Algies Bay. 🌊✨

The heart of this home now features soft, textured Melteca Silvered Ash cabinetry, bringing a modern yet warm feel to the space. We paired it with Lite Vein Quartz benchtops – a subtle, elegant surface that’s as durable as it is beautiful.

Inside, it’s all about functionality. We’ve fitted Blum Legra Box drawers for a smooth, soft-close experience every time, and the clever Blum Space Tower pantry adds layers of organised storage. In the corner, a Häfele LeMans pull-out unit makes sure no space goes to waste – everything is within easy reach.

Tucked away neatly is a Hideaway Concelo bin, keeping things clean and streamlined. And to top it all off, we installed a sleek Archant sink that ties everything together.

We love how this kitchen blends thoughtful design with top-quality finishes – and with that incredible coastal view, it’s truly a dream space to cook, connect, and enjoy.

A big two days at the Kitchen Studio conference last week in Auckland! 👏

It was fantastic to connect with so many designers and talk all things waste management. From demonstrating our award-winning range, to launching new products and catching up on the latest industry trends, it’s been an inspiring couple of days. Thanks to all who came on our stand.

A great start to the week for Michael Robertson
from Kitchen Studio North Shore! Mike is the winner of our $150 Farmers voucher from our draw at the recent Kitchen Studio conference in Auckland.

He managed to guess the exact dimensions of our brand-new bathroom vanity bin: 303 x 303 x 364mm.
