Our next open day will be Saturday 9th May 11am to 12.30pm.
But, if you need Potting Mix we can arrange the pickup for most days, right through. Price is $25 per 30 litre bag.
If you are new to us please read the home page at cacti.co.nz to get an understanding of how we work these days. The website's Shop section is completely destocked, too time-consuming for our small team. Email is better than Facebook (which has a huge bug eating away at my access and mood). New Zealand based Coromandel Cacti sell rare succulents and cactus cacti, wholesale and retail from their nursery in Panmure, Auckland. Website has large library of pictures and expert info, plus online shop for mailorder.

With lots of fresh stock, our next open day will be Saturday 14th March 11.00am to 12.30pm. Plenty of parking inside, don't park on the street. See you there at 170 Mt Wellington Highway.

Next open day is February 28th 2026 from 11am to 12.30pm.
Potting Mix can be arranged to pick up most days 9am to 9pm. Email me (or text to 0272874287) to arrange pickup, it is $25 per 30 litre bag.
Email is best for communicating with me ([email protected]) because Facebook messages to me and postings people make are usually unfindable - the links that come in my mail just take me to my own pages usually, quite hopeless, been happening for years. Facebook's software must be stuffed, or stupid?

Two things to celebrate today: First, it's 20 years ago today that Maribel arrived in New Zealand from the Philippines. We met at the airport, for the first time, right where the weary passengers pour out from the arrival zone! And we've never looked back, it's fair to say. The other thing: we just noticed our first-ever flowerbuds developing on a Delonix pumila, now 28 years old from seed. Delonix pumila is a rare, smallish, pachycaulous tree from southern Madagascar. Family: Caesalpiniaceae. I'll attach pics if I can, and there may be updates to follow, as the flowers develop.

Special opening time: 11.30am to 1200 noon today 19th December. Also tomorrow Saturday 20th 11am to 12.30pm.
Lots of new material, including the first tranche from a large collection needing to be downsized urgently and being sold by us "on behalf" and "as is where is". Today 11.30am, noone will be allowed in until 11.30am as we have some appointments first.

Next Opening Time: 11am to 12.30pm Saturday 6th December 2025. To reward you for braving the IKEA TRAFFIC we offer 20% off all plants, this Sat 6th only.
We now have plenty of Potting Mix bagged up. Price is now $25 per 30 litre bag.
We will also open Saturday 20th December 2025. (Possibly Sat 13th too, wait and see).
