πͺπ Back to back wins ππͺ
On a week with plenty of rain and grounds becoming wet , the game was transferred from Tomarata Domain Society Inc to Centennial Park in Wellsford.
Wellsford won the toss and decided to bat. With rain on the forcast we knew early wickets would be important.
To start thats exactly what opening bowler Cram did for the Camels picking up 2 early wickets putting wellsford on the back foot early.
Wickets continued to fall regularly with Rooter , Pingu , Gian & Blu all getting their names in the wickets column with Pingu being the pick with 3 for 15 off his 8 overs.
Wellsford all out for 95.
Baz & Pingu set off to get the run chase under way, getting off to a good start losing out first wicket with 30 on the board. Both Baz & Pingu looked very good before being dismissed.
Rooter at 3 came out and got into his work early playing very well including 2 sixes before being dismissed.
Blu at 4 played a great patient knock giving minimal chances spending quality time in the middle staying there till the end for a nice not out.
In-between that Gian came and looked promising before retiring hurt, Matty Mcabe came out eager, (a little too eager) run out without facing a ball, before glen Irvine came out and got the remaining runs. Securing the Camels another bonus point victory.
Player of the day was shared between Blu & Pingu longville π€
