Just finished applying a coat of Bona Drifast stain, natural, on to a jarrah floor I'm restoring. What a colour, so rich. Polyurethane goes on tomorrow and it will look even better!

The 1 an 2nd coats are on, and the have really brought out the colour or the Jarrah.

Restoring an old Parquet floor. Uplifted loose tiles, cleaned them up and reglued. Sanded and finishing with Bona Traffic HD.

This client wanted to lose the red of the matai floor and go as light as possible without going white. So I sanded the floor back and finished to a 120grit with the Bona Power Drive.
Then I applied 1 coat off Bona Natural sealer and 2 coats of Bona Traffic HD matt.

I struck a problem with a kauri floor last week. Part of the hall floor had been patched with tanilized tawa floorboards, so came out green when coated.
With a few test samples done, I worked out that if I tinted the sealer with a tiny amount of red paint tint, (red is the opposite off green on the colour wheel) it canceled out the green and matched the kauri floorboards perfectly.
The clients were very happy and glad they didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars replacing the boards.

Rimu floor become a rich colour and the grain is highlighted even more using Bona Drifast Stain, Natural. And Bona Traffic HD matt.

One of my resent jobs. Modernizing and old Kauri floor, by sanding and staining the floor white and applying Bona Traffic HD matt. Gone is the dated orange solvent based polyurethane.

Matai floor finished with Osmo Hardwax oil, Rapid. Low sheen. Dry in 12 hrs. We used Osmo hardwax Rapid, on this matai floor as the the oils and resins in the flooring would have slowed the curing of standard Osmo Hardwax oil down by at least 2 to 3 days per coat.
