What a pleasure it was to paint Verran Primary School, we love to work with our community!

Verran Primary School was needing a refresh of spaces, to add some care to the classrooms where students learn and thrive. We painted a 2 classroom block including adding some fun purple doors (with the help of a Resene colour consult, as well as a beautiful stain and complete repaint for their library.

Our team went over and above to ensure longevity, by replacing batons and providing much needed repair to the roof of the library.

A successful project and such a pleasure to uplift a space for these amazing kids and teachers 😎

Before the idea of Leo D Painters was born, our founder Leo studied painting with his father back in Peru, South America. He travelled across the world to come to beautiful New Zealand, and backed by years of wisdom, careful practice and knowledge, founded his business Leo D Painters.

Starting a business in a brand new country is no easy feat, but Leo's endless committment to excellence is what has gotten his business to where it is today.

We know many of our followers are from South America and Peru, and as happy as Leo is living in New Zealand, he (as the Kiwi song goes) ‘won't forget his roots, my friend’ 😎

A home needing some warmth and TLC before welcoming new tenants? Leave it to us 🫡

This Bayview home had fantastic bones but definitely was looking tired 😴 our team not only added warmth to the walls with the help of colour consult (free when you book any full interior or full exterior paint with Leo D Painters), but also used our expertise to make small repairs around the home.

The owner was so pleased from start to finish, it was a great project with a rewarding outcome 😍

EXTERIOR - Narrow Neck, Auckland 🌊

A beautiful soft blue that perfectly accents the timber features, stone grey furniture and beach neighbouring location, completed with a flawless painting finish.

David has owned this home for more than 20 years, estimating the last paint to be more than 10 years ago, so it was definitely time for a refresh.

This house was a large job - weatherboards on the top and plastered ground level so we used a small, mobile scaffold to reach the high places and achieving minimal disruption to the owners. We used premium paints for the best possible and lasting finish, and were careful to cover all window panels and masked the window frames to protect the aging glass. 💪

The job took 4 weeks and 3 painters working hard, but the result was absolutely worth it 😎

David shared a wonderful review with us: "The quality of their painting and their workmanship was perfect - I could not fault it in any way. Very tidy painters, excellent job, I would recommend to my friends, to my family, to anyone". 🙏

Georgina is a wonderful client of ours, always trusting us to take the best care of her home. The stain under the deck at her place needed some care, but being a textured wood she wanted to keep the authenticity of the grain in the finished product.

We used a wood stain finish that adds colour to the timber while allowing the natural grain to show through, which gave a beautiful finish without comprimising character.

We're back - and with a brand new look! 🕺✨

Our new logo brings a fresh start to 2026, and a better reflection of our skillset.

While our main discipline is painting, to get a painting result that lasts, looks flawless and done within a budget and timeframe, it often involves other trades, which can be difficult for customers to coordinate and afford.

We've listened to our customers' requests, and upskilled our team over the last few years to be able to offer the additional trades required to do an incredible painting job such as plastering, maintenance, repairs and bathroom/kitchen renovations, all under
one roof. While it's been on our resume for a long time, we thought it's about time we made it 'logo official' - our customers know from the get-go that their property is in the best hands.

We love our new look and are excited for another year of transforming homes 🥰
