A kitchen for true coffee lovers ☕️
A home for empty nesters—sometimes cooking for two, other times hosting 40.

With such a close-knit family, the original layout no longer worked. The kitchen was closed off from the living areas, making it hard to connect when everyone gathered.

So the space evolved—just as their lives have. By opening up the kitchen, we created a generous island designed for hosting, gathering, and sharing moments together.

The brief was bold and moody: rich walnut cabinetry, matte black finishes, and the striking Dekton Laurent bringing it all together.

A space that adapts, welcomes, and brings everyone closer.

A kitchen designed to feel like it’s always belonged here.
Natural walnut veneer paired with soft sand-coloured lacquer doors allows this space to sit calmly within its original mid-century modern home in Castor Bay.

Thoughtfully designed to honour the home’s era, while seamlessly integrating modern conveniences—integrated refrigeration, sleek contemporary appliances, and clean, functional detailing.

Finished with iconic Louis Poulsen pendant lights, originally designed in 1958, tying the kitchen beautifully back to the vintage of the home.

Timeless, considered, and quietly modern.
