Back on the tools at my daughter’s new home. We repurposed this plank that was holding up a curtain rail with no wastage. Cut in half and perfect size all hidden fixings with mortise joins. Sexy slanted legs.

New project, Ruakaka Bach conversion/reconfiguration, initial concept by a colleague from Maynard and Marks, Craig Pye. The black blends in the existing fibrolite with new screened Harditex, good use of a smaller space with kitchen across the back wall.

On the drawing board- The home is a Pip Cheshire original with pool area upgrade/redesign and new bi-fold doors from the existing house opening out to the pool. The new ensuite/addition has a picture window to the bush at the rear of the house and now opens and connects with a spa area which connects to the pool. .
