The Island & Surfaces: A massive, waterfall-edge kitchen island featuring a rare, polished quartzite countertop (off-white with subtle gray and subtle gold veining). The splashback is a subtly textured, handmade ceramic subway tile in a matte sage green.
The Architecture: The kitchen features large, floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors (Altius-style framing) that open onto a lush, sub-tropical native garden with Ponga ferns, illuminated by the warm, late afternoon New Zealand sun.
Appliances & Details: A professional-grade, matte black induction hob and a sleek, stainless steel integrated range hood. Subtle, integrated LED strip lighting glows softly beneath the upper cabinetry and under the kickboards.
