I have been searching for ages for a good solid garden belt and FINALLY I found one and am recommending it. I purchased this at Plant Zone in Waipapa, looks like some Mitre 10 also stock them. Or you can go to the website for Omni Products. It is solid, has deep pockets for glasses, secateurs and your phone, all those things that usually fall out of your back pocket!
I can wear it comfortably on my hips.

Persicaria capitata, common name Pink knowtw**d, is from the Polygonaceae family. I planted one small piece and it has really taken over many parts of the garden. Just Beware!! It is a great ground cover, looks best in shady areas but quite happy in full sun. Bees love it.

Corymbia ficifolia is a variety of eucalyptus which is from the Family Myrtaceae.
These flowers are made of hundreds of stamens which emerge from bud like cones.
If you look you can see how it begins to flower, almost taking its hat off the top. You can see this stays attached until the stamens have dropped off. The bees love to visit and gather nectar and pollen from these amazing flowers.

Mandevilla, commonly known as Rock Trumpet was a great place for monarch caterpillars to crawl to and get ready for their next stage of metamorphosis.
The swan plant, Gomphocarpus physocarpus was growing beside it and has since been decimated by the monarch caterpillars. Both of these plants hail from the Apocynaceae (dogbane) family.

So if any on you have a caravan, you could turn it into a hot house before it gets too hot!
I have planted seeds and moved them into the caravan and they are doing very well.
You can use any plastic milk bottles or plastic bottles and write the names of the seeds on those.
