At EC Flooring, we work across all types of flooring, but the focus is always the same: getting the details right.

A lot of that comes from the hands-on skills Steve (Director) has passed through the team over the years. Traditional techniques that still matter today.

Coving is a GREAT example.

It’s not the easiest work, built up, shaped by hand, and finished with precision using steel trowels.

In the right environments, such as food production, commercial kitchens, and washdown areas, it plays a significant role in hygiene, durability, and water flow to hand-troweled falls to drains.

These photos show the process using Sureshield Terrazzite, from build-up through to the finished line 🏁

Old skills, done properly, are as relevant as ever, and we’re making sure they get passed on to the next generation.

The difference is in the detail.

Something a little different for us at EC Flooring, but we were excited for the challenge.

This 30+ year old brick flooring was restored as part of a villa renovation to keep its original character throughout the kitchen, bathroom, and entrance area.

The floor was ground, polished, epoxy skimmed to fill imperfections, and finished with a satin sealer to protect and enhance the final look. We’re stoked with how it came up while still keeping the charm of the original floor.
