✨ Firehouse, Grey Lynn — Installed With Pride ✨

There’s something special about working inside one of Auckland’s most iconic heritage buildings. Every curve, every corner, every grain of timber at the Firehouse Restaurant & Bar has a story behind it — and Eurocraft is proud to have added our own chapter.

Over the past months we’ve handcrafted and installed the full joinery package on site — from the booth seating and banquettes, to the bar detailing, paneling, trims, shelving, and custom dining setups.
All built with the same obsession for detail and durability that defines Eurocraft.

This project wasn’t just another fit-out.
It was an opportunity to respect old-world architecture while delivering modern craftsmanship — blending classic timber joinery with the warmth, character and elegance the Firehouse deserves.

Huge appreciation to everyone involved in bringing this space back to life. It’s an honour to help restore a landmark that means so much to the Grey Lynn community.

Working alongside the talented teams at Cheshire Architects and Alaska Interiors, this project celebrates timeless design — where tradition meets contemporary detailing. The result is a warm, elegant dining environment that complements the building’s heritage and architectural legacy.

As the heritage details come together, we’re now bringing a new layer of design to life inside The Firehouse, Grey Lynn.

Our Eurocraft team has been busy installing custom joinery, bar counters, timber wall panels, and detailed trims — blending modern precision with timeless character.

Every element is handcrafted to complement the building’s history while meeting today’s standards of quality and style.
From the hand-finished oak and walnut joinery to the seamless panel alignments and hidden fixings, this project showcases the attention to detail that defines Eurocraft’s work.
