This little project was a lot of fun!

The aim was to tidy a garden box, that was on a berm in Mt Eden.

We cleared the w**ds/unwanted vegetation, planted NewZealand ladder fern in the newly cleared area, and to finish used dead Cabbage tree fronds and natural mulch to aid in moisture retention within the soil.

This set up will both help repress w**ds and keep the plants hydrated and healthy.

When the light hits just right, nature’s colours look amazing!

These are the moments when you remember planting the seeds now will bring reward later. Last year this Maple was looking average when we planted it, now it has flourished into something great!

I’m sure there are many of you looking a little bushy right now, I know my lockdown beard is getting out of hand 😜

However while we may have to wait a little longer before we can get to the hair dresser, with some luck we will be moving alert levels next week.

Beards and trees alike, maybe your garden area is also in need of a spruce up?

We will be up and running again once we move down to alert level 3.

We will operate with the correct procedures in place, so this will mean no face to face contact and most correspondence will be done over the phone.

Finally its Spring! Growing season is upon us. The plants are waking up and going into bloom.

Early Spring is a great time for planting as there is still adequate rainfall to nourish your plant babies, as well as more warmth to get the root growth going!

Here at GOAPEGardenCare we believe staging is very important when selling a property.

Effective staging allows you to showcase the positive features your property has and helps with first impressions! Thats gotta be a good thing right?

Above is a basic staging job we did for a customer in Henderson Vally. The aim was to get the front entrance looking presentable and nice for photos that would be used to advertise the property!

This was basic staging job, mainly involving lots of w**ding, mulch and lawn edging. See there is actually a path to the front door!

We did what was required for the best outcome, coordinating between property owner and Realestate agent, making the sale more seamless overall.

No job is alike and we will do the best to fit your needs! This was a basic staging job, but we provide more extensive staging if required.

WEEDS HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT.. what’s the deal?

Often I will visit a site for a job inquiry only to find that while on the surface things don’t look super messy, delving deeper the area is unfortunately festered with w**d species that should be removed.

When I discuss this with customers they are normally very responsive and keen to get things in check. However they simply were not aware of what was actually going on.

I believe this is a common occurrence, even when working for keen gardeners they are not always sure about how to treat their outdoor space.
