Yesterday was amazing.
The New Zealand International Convention Centre’s Open Day brought an incredible energy, to hear that approximately 5,000 people walked through the doors was something really special and to see the space alive with people, curiosity and connection was unforgettable.
A very special thank you to the team for trusting Sara and I with this opportunity. Having our mahi on the exterior of the building is an absolute honour. Choosing to wrap the NZICC in art was a bold and courageous decision, and I will always be grateful for that belief.
It has been nine years since I first began this project, and seeing it now completed feels surreal. What once lived as an idea is now standing strong in the world.
Thank you to .daly_in.nz and the NZICC marketing team for your kindness, enthusiasm and constant support, it has been such a pleasure getting to know you. To the core team I met at the very beginning, thank you for backing this vision and believing in my mahi from day one and for trusting I could put my best foot forward!

To represent and uplift tāngata whenua in this way is a profound and humbling feeling.
This project faced many battles, but overcoming those challenges is what has made it unforgettable. The obstacles shaped the strength of the outcome.
