EDIT : The response I received was noted. It acknowledged my โviewpoint,โ but still did not address the main concern โ the repeated similarities in overall design, layout, placement and ex*****on.
And now Iโve been blocked, so I suppose thatโs one way to end a conversation without actually answering the question. ๐
โฆ๏ธIt breaks my heart to have to write this again.โฆ๏ธ
Iโd much rather be spending my time creating, encouraging others, and celebrating the incredible talent within this community. But when something you poured your heart and soul into is recreated so closely, itโs hard not to feel hurt โ and even harder to stay silent about the importance of originality and respect in the creative world.
As artists, we invest so much more than time into our work. Every concept is carefully thought through โ from the layout and colours to the textures, prints, and tiny finishing details that bring a vision to life. Behind every piece are hours of experimenting, doubting, refining, and creating something that feels deeply personal.
Itโs never just paper, paint, or transfers. Itโs a piece of us.
What makes handmade art truly meaningful is the originality behind it โ the emotion, imagination, and creative journey that shaped it. Those ideas donโt appear overnight. They come from passion, dedication, and the courage to create something unique.
Inspiration is beautiful when it encourages artists to grow and create in their own voice. But when a concept is recreated so closely that only small changes are made to make it appear โdifferent,โ it can feel incredibly disheartening.
Artists deserve respect for the ideas they bring into the world. And while sharing creativity is one of the most wonderful parts of this community, protecting originality and honouring the heart behind someoneโs work matters too.
