A glimpse into a larger custom project currently underway for a client on great barrier island. This in-built bed frame and head board feature integrated storage and considered detailing throughout. The pine frame is reinforced with a spline joint to strengthen the mitred corners and improve edge durability. Using recycled native timber, the spline introduces a quiet contrast and layer of character an other wise simple form.
