Another "Shower In Pain" that I cured last week and brought back to New.

In this case I regrouted both the floor and walls with waterproof Epoxy Grout and replaced all of the silicone.

You probably know how shower water can build up on your glass over time if it isn’t dried after each shower. What many people don’t realise is that the same build-up also forms on your tiles — and on darker coloured tiles it can become very noticeable and unsightly.

The good news is I have the tools, products, and most importantly the patience to restore both your shower glass and tiles back to their best.

I’ll always be honest though — I do need to inspect and test the glass and/or tiles first, as in some cases the damage may be beyond restoration.

If you live around Pine Harbour, you’ll know that bore water can really build up on shower glass over time.
Recently a customer who is preparing their home for sale asked if I could try to restore their shower glass. They had already tried everything they could think of, but nothing was working.
After five and a half hours of careful work, I was able to remove the heavy mineral buildup and bring the glass back to a condition they were absolutely thrilled with.
Sometimes glass like this looks beyond saving, but with the right process and a bit of patience it can often be restored instead of replaced.

Before & after from a grout restoration I completed today in a rental property.

The grout was heavily caked with built-up cooking oils and fats, so I carried out a heavy-duty clean. Once the grout had fully dried, I applied Pure White GroutPro Professional Colourseal to all grout lines, bringing the area back to a fresh, consistent finish.

Unfortunately, the oven is still in need of a deep clean or replacement. While it wasn’t part of my scope of work, I did make an attempt to clean it, but the build-up was beyond what could be reasonably restored.

A good example of how much difference professional grout cleaning and sealing can make—even in well-used rental properties.
