🍓It’s all about Strawberries this week! 🍓

Our bare root plants were so popular we’ve sourced some Strawberry plug plants to continue our $2.50 deal! Camarosa & Monterey available now.

We also have a freshly mixed batch of Premium Strawberry Mix, made by Andy which has been formulated to provide the perfect growing medium for productive healthy strawberry plants. Suitable for pots and garden beds. Available by the 30L bag

If you’d like a long strawberry picking season with enough fruit to see some actually make it into a bowl inside, then we recommend planting 5 strawberry plants per person, with a mix of both varieties. If you’ve got little ones like us who can demolish them at a rate of knots, then we’d recommend planting 10 per child 😉🍓

We are the exclusive stockist of Matthews Roses here in Blenheim, and we’re so proud to bring you varieties grown and bred specifically for NZ conditions by a wonderful, family-run nursery.

Along with some seriously coveted varieties, we also have something extra special this year: our very own Custom Rose Mix, available by the bag! Freshly mixed by Andy, this is the exact blend we use ourselves. It gives your roses the perfect start to flower beautifully in pots or in the garden.

Winter is the absolute best time to plant, so pop in-store this weekend and say hello! 🌹

We’re trialling a new option instore to reduce our plant wastage (and in this economy it seems rude to compost perfectly good veggie seedlings!) 🌱 we always have leftovers in our sowing trays once we’ve pricked out, but now you can grab a bargain from our extras!

These plants are smaller than our usual grade, and could use potting on or a bit of extra care in the garden until they establish.

Our veggie plug trays are out instore - it’s a help yourself type scenario, 2 plugs for $1

Our specialty ranunculus are one of our most popular plants every year! Our first instore and online releases sold out very quickly, but we have several successions underway ☺️ and our next instore crop is ready now.

Grown from imported French & Italian seed, these commercial cut flower varieties are hard to come by and are nothing like the common garden varieties. They flower in their first spring and can be saved year after year.
