Optimal Paint Finishes Ltd. are looking for an experienced full time painter to join our team . We are also looking to take on a new apprentice willing to learn the trade.

Must be reliable and have your own transport, happy to work in a team or on your own if required . Own basic tools expected for experienced painters role and provided for apprentice role .

Work is mainly based in Franklin/ South Auckland with occasional work in East Auckland/central suburbs and is a mix of new builds and high end residential and always produced to a high quality standard.

Rates are competitive and negotiable based on experience.

The door and frame was heavily sanded, sealed and all defects and gaps filled and Resene quick dry undercoat to frame and door. Hardware removed and re-fitted upon completion.

Door- Resene Lustacryl ‘Jalapeño’

We’ve been busy painting this Jennian Homes new build in Beachlands. The interior painting was challenging as the covid-19 level 4 lockdown came into effect halfway through the job. This meant a hectic last day before lockdown removing masking tape from joinery and de-stacking and standing doors upright to ensure no issues once we got back onsite post lockdown to finish off.

Balustrade and Garapa deck built by Murray Long Builders .

Balustrade primed with Resene alkyd wood primer and spray finished with Resene Lustacryl semi gloss ‘pearl lusta’.

Deck oiled w/ Wood-x penetrating
Oil and is set to touch dry within 24-72hours and will require maintenance approx. every 2nd summer.

Imagine Hair Design -Repaint- We were proud to be involved with this repaint of the salon. Existing walls and ceilings required plaster repairs and a pigmented sealer coat followed by two topcoats of Resene Spacecote Low Sheen and Resene Lustacryl Semi Gloss to windows, skirtings and frames.
