We recently completed the painting of one of first homes built on Chester Street East in Christchurch.
This project had numerous different finishes applied throughout, with quite extensive preparation required to restore its former glory.
Here is a look at some of the interior work, exterior photo's to follow!

Labour of love!!

We worked alongside Saltaire Project's to help bring this staircase to life.
This project combined old with new.. old steps with new spindles and handrails.
Our job was to create a consistent colour throughout, this was achieved by using a combination of shellac,tungoil, linseed oil and polyurethane for a subtle but hardwearing finish.

Look forward to completing once all components are created to fit on top of the posts.

We’ve just wrapped up a truly unique project — painting Christchurch’s newest escape room at Serve Social!

This was a dream job for our team, giving us the chance to get highly creative and push the boundaries of what's possible with paint. The theme? An old, abandoned psychiatric hospital — and we were tasked with bringing that eerie, atmospheric vision to life.

To achieve this, we used Porter’s Paints’ special effects range:
🎨 A two-tone French wash on the walls
🪵 Crackle finish on the wooden trims
🚪 A striking copper and patina green effect on the doors

Huge thanks to Logan and the team at Serve Social for trusting us with this project. We’re proud of the result and excited for more collaborations ahead.
