​At Autolockouts, Keys and Repairs we specialize in Automotive car keys whether it’s an old classic or a brand new luxury model Mercedes. Being a new business we are gaining a customer clientele through

It is believed to have started in Ancient Egypt and Babylon around 4000 years ago. A common belief was that the first locks were small and portable and were used to protect goods from thieves who were common along ancient travel routes. Locks back then were not as sophisticated as they are now. Most locks were large, crude and made of wood. However, they were used and worked in the same way as today’s locks. Technology grew, so did the knowledge of locksmiths and tools which changed to suit the jobs at hand. Autolockouts, Keys & Repairs is an owned and operated business in the heart of Christchurch owned by Jordan Weekes. Jordan has worked in the industry for years and has the skills, knowledge and know how to be professional within the industry. Having worked at locksmith companies in the past as well as a mechanics Jordan found combining his two passions gave him the drive and skill set to want to peruse a career for himself to venture out and start a company specializing in automotive car keys and small automotive repairs resulting in Autolockouts, Keys and Repairs.

Nice wee Ignition replacement after the last one was destroyed by theives!. Rekeyed it back to their current keys to keep the cost down and even got the remote working again. Nice mint condition steering column surround for a nice final touch. Very happy customer who will be in for suspension and exhaust mods soon. 😁

Funny wee story with this one. Got a call from the customer stating she had lost her only key for her 2014 holden Captiva. I shot out to her location, on arrival she suggested they may have fallen into the storm water drain beside the vehicle. So I went fishing for them with a rod and magnet I have in my van, and Wullah I got a bite!!. She was a strong fighter but I managed to get her on dry land!!😁. After a quick disassemble of the key and blow down, it somehow still worked 😅🤨. I made them a complete remote spare flip key. On-site. One very happy customer 😀
