This job needs a post of its very own - this is the new build we were working on with Dann from - thanks so much for getting us involved on this one!

We waited for the professional photos of this one, my goodness it is stunning!

Our mitered edges were taken up a notch, adding a colour-match epoxy resin to finish these beautifully - definitely a challenge learning the process and application, but one we are absolutely stoked with!!

We have another few jobs on the go at the moment (we are getting slightly better at this multi-tasking!).

While we are finishing off the nearly completed bathrooms, we thought we would share a couple of the kitchen splashbacks we have completed recently.

It is amazing how much choice there is when tiling splashbacks - from simple, subway style tiles, to fancy feature tiles, in almost any size and colour you could imagine, the choice is entirely yours, and can create the vibe you want for your space!

These two splashbacks show a couple of the different choices available, both finishing these new kitchens beautifully!

We have also been working on a couple of jobs, both at the prep stage, ready for tiling to begin next week!

We have a few big jobs coming up over the next couple of months - including one over Franz Josef, which will be something new!

This fireplace hearth was another small job we completed a few weeks ago - squeezed in after hours, and even had a tiny apprentice on site!

How good does the fire look though! Perfect timing to keep their house toasty warm over the winter!

While we await the finished photos of a new build we have been working on, we thought we would share some of the other jobs we have also completed over the last few weeks!

We have recently become contractors for an Insurance group, having completed two jobs for them so far, including the bathroom pictured below.

- Floor prep
- Waterproofing
- Tiled shower base
- Tiled shower walls
- Tiled floor and skirting
- Grout & silicone

This particular job was based in Charteris Bay, and the daily work views were beautiful! Well worth the daily drive!

We have also completed a few more splashbacks to complete the kitchen, vanity and laundry areas for two other clients.

We have had a few splashbacks over the past few weeks. These jobs are often easy to fit in around bigger jobs, as they only take a day or two to complete, so a great way for us to fill in time, especially whilst getting prep work sorted for full bathrooms.

Two new splashbacks to finish newly renovated kitchens, and a house soon to be on the market, that wanted simple but effective upgrades to the laundry and bathroom!

This newly aquired home has been undergoing a full renovation, ready to hit the market soon!

The bathroom has had a clean, contemporary style upgrade, with a standout feature tile herringbone niche to add a pop of colour, that matches the paint of the interior doors!

We had a couple of smaller jobs at the retirement village to start our week, before heading out to Rangiora to make a start on the tiling of a new build!

The first outdoor entry wasn't draining properly, causing the water to pool when it rains, which is not a pleasant way to enter a house - let alone the health & safety issue it poses.

A prior visit to assess the job, checking levels and fall to find the issue, then a return trip to remove the tiles and grind the entry, ready for relaying - this time with the correct fall to ensure the water will drain, not pool!

We tied this in with an internal entry removal and relay, with a new tile to match their kitchen flooring.

Tile removal & disposal - grinding of floors - relaying tiles - grout and silicone!

Some jobs we do take a couple of weeks from start to finish, and entail long hours - other jobs can be as small as 2m², and completed in the best part of a day - no job it too big or too small!

Having tradies that work together is definitely a positive when renovating - the communication between trades to ensure the job comes together as it should, without the hassle of back and fourth between different tradies certainly makes it less stressful! (We would say 'stress-free', but in reality, no renovation is stress-free).
