Our reputed aluminium fabrication business based in Christchurch is looking for a new Sales Representative/Project Manager to join our team immediately. This role is for an immediate start due to the growing demand of the business.
The ideal candidate should be a fast learner, smart worker, should be able to make smart and quick decisions, have good customer service background and be able to work in a team environment. Experience in the aluminium joinery industry and or the building industry is a must. No two days are going to be the same in this role and this is not a strict office job. The shortlisted candidate should be willing to step out of the office and meet customers and help promote sales for the business. The job description of the role is listed below.
1 - Customer sales experience is a must. Customer is king and without them, no business can survive. We take good care of our customers and you should do too.
2 - Project Management- the ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects from start to close and ensure timely closure and manage customer updates regularly.
3 - Process Implementation and Management- the ideal candidate should be able to help with the implementation of a workflow system and be able to manage the same effortlessly. Regular updates should be provided to the business owner.
4 - Sales and Marketing- the ideal candidate should be able to discover new business avenues, developing customers across residential, commercial, building trade through to architects and be able to generate new leads from them.
This is an important position in our organisation and it is vital that the person we engage for this role has the following technical and personal competencies:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or a background in the construction industry
Proven accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail together with the ability to maintain standards under pressure
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
High level of computer skills
Honest, punctual and reliable
A clean and full drivers licence
