Clifton - [Completion]

A compact coastal hillside dwelling designed to feel far bigger than its footprint.

Through sectional design and volume, the home expands outward and upward, capturing panoramic ocean views while maintaining a strong sense of privacy. Split levels create subtle separation between spaces, giving the plan both openness and control.

A restrained palette of timber, steel and blockwork responds to the coastal setting, balanced by warm interior linings and moments of colour that bring key spaces to life.

Built for long-term performance, the house integrates passive design principles, durable materials and on-site energy generation to support efficient and considered living. A big thank you to everyone involved in delivering this detailed and challenging project. It takes a solid crew to bring something like this to life.

Our high street project has a finally got the finishing street art touches that were envisioned with our clients at concept stage. Incredible work by .r.e.z and for making this happen.

Meet , a labour of love was this local project. Starting out in 2021 we were tasked with base build spatial planning, EQ strengthening, consenting and conversion of this historic 1920's Heritage building located in the old Sol Square, central Christchurch to house a new Hybrid Hotel/Hostel and bar. Credit to and the very talented .space for their incredible work on all the interiors and bar downstairs. This our 10th commercial accomodation re-purposing project to be completed recently and we're super proud to have been involved in what is an exciting reinvention and addition to this part of the city.
