A thanksgiving cactus cutting all potted up in its wee pot. Now just repeat for as many or as few cuttings as you have. Put them somewhere with moderately consistent temperature and light and you're good to go.
Don't forget to check on them once or twice a week for watering (depending on how hot your space is) and then in time you'll have some beautiful new plant babies 😄

Step 2 of propagating!
Here I am doing some Schlumbergera truncatus (commonly known as Thanksgiving cactus) which I promise is easier to propagate than its name suggests.
Simply cut off a small section like shown in the photo, dip it into your choice of rooting hormone and then place it into some well-watered soil. Easy as! 🙌

Did you know that plants use this fuzz as a survival technique, as it helps with water loss and makes the plant more drought tolerant. Which is great to know if you're a forgetful waterer as plants with their signature wooly look could be the ones for you.

Some of mine I've hardened off to endure the harsh winters here in the South Island but others have not done nearly as well 😬
