Another busy week for the team.

Monday-Quick 40m one day build on Monday for a referral client from the neighbouring fence

Tuesday- 4 Houses completed for Mike Greer Homes in Podocarp Drive, Halswell. The other 3 lads put posts in at 5 lots across Halswell & West Melton ready for Concrete to be poured

Wednesday- Started another set of Social housing units for Bushnell Builders working alongside DiggersNZ. They removed the gnarly side of the boundary fencing while we took care of the limited access side. 55m of fence removed by us and 120m of Posts installed in a day

Thursday- Installing the internal based fencing posts to height & Layout. Bit of thinking with the corners

Friday- Finish off the 120m of Boundaries in a day with the full amount being retained.

Saturday- Little tidy up day. Installed the final lot of fencing for Consortium Construction Ltd down at Colwyn Ave. Custom fabricated Steel fencing from Lewis Metalworks to match the existing fencing completed many years ago on the original retirement home. Installed some vertical rails for upcoming trellis and a couple of internal posts for a pour on Monday for Mike Greer Homes

Watford Street- Ascent Property & beside Miles Construction Ltd

Nice steady 90m completed in 2 days a few weeks ago. Fences worked to new elevations meaning the front sections have retaining on both sides to achieve this

Normally we share just one project at a time but the guys pumped through that much work last week, heres a weekly update instead 🤙

Monday- 90m of fence Posted by late lunch with another 2 sections of Internal Lots posted for Mike Greer Homes in the arvo

Tuesday- 90m of the 1.8m Paling from the day before finished by 12.30. (If only the compressor had not thrown a tantrum we wouldve been done by 1130 :D) In the afternoon we railed, capped and Clad another 40m up in Riverstone Halswell.

Wednesday- 70m of Posts installed by 12pm. 9 Corners of set up but the boys hustled. 2 lads headed to West Melton for another few Mike Greer Lots while the other 2 headed down to Antigua Street for Oxford Property. Another beautiful set of units coming to completion so the internal fencing wraps this one up

Thursday- 70m of 1.8 Paling & retaining done by 11.45. Finished an internal set in Berryfields for Mike Greer on the way past before heading out to Courtenay Place, Kaiapoi for Consortium Construction Ltd to complete the last few pieces there.

Friday- Because why not, another 40m One day build. Cleared the 4 large trees for Housing NZ on there side of the boundary while we were there and that was carted out by our mates at Stewart Civil. Clients wrapped with leaving to work with the old fence standing and coming home to a brand new one fully finished. Then over to Hoogervorst Builders site in Waiwetu to finish up 14m of 2m high 4 rail fencing alongside the Pool.

Saturday- Malcom & James headed to St Andrews on Normans Road, an absolute cracker of a Dressed Fence for this new build. All the right pieces in all the right places.

Griffiths Ave- Consortium Construction Ltd

A smart set of units built by our good clients ready for new tenants to move in. Featuring a mix of Timber Paling, 50x50 Batton Fences, aluminum and steel gates make a sharp appearance as you pull into the site. Few boxes of bugles and the impact drivers got a workout but worth the end result for sure

Rosefern Homes- Ensors road

Working alongside the good buggers at DiggersNZ, full external boundary site replacement took place with a few extras thrown in. Combating varying neighboring levels, a level retaining wall for future landscaping was installed in conjunction with the fence remaining 6ft from the other side giving privacy to both parties. This was also complimented by the left hand side having double cladding installed to be a "good neighbour" fence. Great turned around by the team in 2 and half days with the additional items quickly incorporated and handled to get over the line ready for the foundation lads

Cranmer street Apartment complex- bodycorp

Nice install in town on Friday for this set of apartment owners. With an already existing concrete wall onsite, they needed additional height to stop people from using it as a shortcut. 950mm delta panel directly fixed into the block adds that extra security while not appearing overbearing. On-site at 845, and all finished by 2

Lake Brunner School- Partnering with N Sullivan Builders

I've been waiting to share this one for a while

At the end of March, myself and the lads went on a trip for a week over to the West coast to complete the full upgrade to the external boundaries at Moana Primary School. Battling some traditional good old West coast weather and some unpredictable ground (rocks the size of buckets), we knocked out over 400m in 5 days. There were only 10 panels out of +180 that were actually laser leveled with the rest having to fall under the Ministry and education guidelines stepping to follow the constant contour changes of not exceeding 100mm clearance. I headed back over this Saturday with Malcom to install all the gates and few remaining panels thus completing the project. Long hours meant the trip in from Greymouth was early and this trip back was always late, but the standard of delivery remained on par with our standards here at home.
